Final Projects

Final Projects
Grapes being planted
Portable table being crafted

It's the end of the year and we here at SustAg are wrapping things up. Everyone in the class either joined up with others to make groups, or worked themselves to better the farm or community, or both! There were many projects however to better the farm. Miles made a cart to move plants to and from the garden. This was used during the last farmers market we had last Friday. There was also grapes planted, chicken coop made, pond made, and many more just around the farm. My friend Ruby and I did chicken advocacy and got so far that we are almost guaranteed chickens for next Fall semester! We will be able to get the chickens involved in the curriculum about having animals in a sustainable and organic farm, with another means of pest control, and the possibility of selling eggs during farmers market to create more revenue for the Farm!

We the Redwood High School Sustainable Agriculture class of 2014-2015 thank you for supporting the new class and we are all so excited to see where the class will be in the years to come. We wish everyone has a fantastic summer and we'll see you next Fall!
